A crew plan people can understand and operate.

CrewManagement is being designed to balance operational demand with qualifications, seniority, preferences, training windows, leave and reserve coverage, while keeping every proposed assignment explainable.

01

Roster proposals

Build assignments from qualification, base, aircraft, seniority, preference and duty constraints.

02

Leave planning

Apply entitlement, blackout, seniority and minimum coverage rules across bases and fleets.

03

Training schedule

Plan recurrent and initial training alongside operational demand before currency windows close.

04

Licence currency

Track licences, ratings, medicals and recurrent checks in the same planning context.

05

Reserve pool

Plan the right reserve coverage by base, fleet, role and expected operational pressure.

06

Crew requests

Bring preferences, swaps, leave and change requests into a single structured workflow.

The rules belong to the operator.

Seniority, bid lines, leave entitlement, training curricula and agreements differ between airlines. CrewManagement is intended to model those differences instead of hiding them in manual workarounds.

04Approval and publishing workflows

Build, explain and publish the crew plan.

01

Model

Bring demand, qualifications, contracts, training and operator rules together.

02

Propose

Generate a fair, explainable roster proposal for planning review.

03

Resolve

Work through conflicts, requests and coverage gaps with visible impact.

04

Publish

Release the plan to crew and pass the operational roster into CrewOPS.

Questions teams ask before they start.

01What does automated roster building mean here?+

The planned system proposes assignments from operator rules and explains the factors behind each result. Planners remain able to adjust and override the plan.

02Can it model collective agreements?+

Configurable seniority, entitlement, bid line and duty rules are central to the product direction.

03Will crew see the roster in an app?+

Yes. The planned shared crew experience includes rosters, requests, leave, training and currency information.

04Does it replace CrewOPS?+

No. CrewManagement owns longer range planning. CrewOPS takes over for live crew control during the operational day.
