Understand how the cabin environment changes medical events and the crew response.
Structured first assessment
Use warning signs and a fixed sequence to recognise urgency without needing to diagnose the passenger.
CPR, AED and oxygen
Practise adult and child resuscitation, defibrillation and oxygen use with direct instructor feedback.
Illness and trauma
Work through common acute events, injury, bleeding and allergic reaction using action based checklists.
Onboard medical equipment
Train with the operator FAK, EMK, AED and other equipment wherever the programme allows.
Crew coordination
Share roles, update the situation picture and brief cockpit and medical ground support clearly.

No. The course is designed for new flying personnel and builds a clear checklist led framework from the ground up.
03Can we use our own medical equipment?+
Yes, where agreed. Training with the actual kit layout makes the location and use of equipment familiar before the first operational flight.
04How is completion documented?+
Assessment, course completion, certificates and validity can be managed through the AeroSelect Academy as part of the crew qualification record.
