Cabin crew assessment workshop
Practise group discussions, a passenger conversation and an interview answer before your assessment day.

What happens in the workshop?
We meet on Microsoft Teams and work in English. Group exercises take place in breakout rooms of about five. You also practise a passenger conversation and an interview answer.

Two timed group tasks
In the first task, your group receives three passenger requests after a delay. You decide what to address first and explain your choice. In the second, new information arrives during a service disruption. The group decides whether to change its plan.
After each task, a trainer discusses how the group shared information and reached a decision.
Passenger conversation
You and a partner take turns playing an applicant and a passenger worried about a missed connection. Practise listening, explaining what you can do and saying when you would seek help. Then switch roles and discuss what worked.
Interview practice
Choose a teamwork or service example from your own experience. A trainer asks what you did, follows up on a detail and gives you spoken feedback. With more than twelve participants, two trainers run parallel Teams rooms.
How the day runs
The workshop runs from 07:30 to 15:30 UTC, with short breaks and a lunch break.
Applications and group work
We look at the usual steps from an online application to an assessment invitation and at the information your airline has actually published. You then work through two timed group tasks in small Teams rooms. After each task, a trainer discusses what happened in the group.
Passenger conversation
In pairs, one person plays an applicant and the other a passenger worried about a missed connection. You swap roles and discuss how to acknowledge the concern, explain the next step and ask for help when needed.
Interview practice and feedback
Prepare an example from work, study or volunteering. Each participant answers a trainer's interview question and a follow-up, then receives brief spoken feedback. Larger groups use parallel Teams rooms. We finish with time for questions.
Before joining, choose two examples from work, education or volunteering. You need a computer with a camera and microphone and a place where you can speak without interruption.

Feedback during the workshop
After the group tasks, the trainers discuss how participants worked together. You receive brief spoken feedback after your interview answer.
Group discussion
Could the group follow your reasoning? Did you ask for other views before deciding?
Passenger conversation
Did you acknowledge the concern and explain the next step?
Interview answer
Did you describe what you personally did and answer the follow-up clearly?

Questions before you book
Who is this workshop for?
It is for people preparing for a cabin crew assessment, whether you already have an invitation or are still applying. You do not need aviation experience. The exercises and discussions are in English, so you need to be comfortable speaking in a small group.
What will I actually practise?
You review the usual application steps, complete two timed group tasks, practise a passenger conversation in pairs and answer an interview question about your own experience. Group tasks take place in Teams rooms of about five.
Will this match my airline's assessment day?
Airlines use different selection formats. Bring your invitation if you have one, and check the requirements published by the airline you are applying to.
What do I need for the online session?
Bring a laptop or desktop computer that can join a Microsoft Teams meeting, a working camera and microphone, a stable connection and a quiet place to speak. Before the day, think of two short examples from work, education or volunteering that show teamwork or customer care.
What feedback will I receive?
The trainers discuss the group tasks and passenger conversation with the class. After your interview answer, a trainer gives you brief spoken feedback. A written report and certificate are not included.
What if fewer than ten people book?
The 11 December 2026 workshop needs ten paid participants by 4 December. If fewer people book, AeroSelect cancels it and refunds all payments in full. The maximum is 20 participants.
